WHY?

WE LOVE CREATIVITY

God made us creative. And the more one explores their creativity, the better they get at it. We want Paola Lane to be a place for people to share their craft.

WE BELIEVE IN HARVEST

As we sow our time and energy into getting better in our craft, it should be rewarded with a “harvest”; paying our artists & writers is a way to show appreciation for their talents.

WE DO NOT HAVE PAID ADS

Because we do not solicit outside advertisers, magazine sales do not cover all our expenses. We look to donors to bless creatives and help cover printing costs.

2 Ways to Support Creatives

Specifically for those contributing with articles, poetry, etc.

Our goal is to pay writers $25-$50 per article. Other artists and photographers we will pay out based on what they submit, where it is placed in the magazine, the funds available, and the quality of their work. Our suggested donation amount is $25 but we have the option for smaller amounts – or name your own donation amount.

Each magazine issue has a featured artist plus photographers & other creatives

$150 and up

Our goal is to bless our Featured Artists based on their experience, reputation, and the type of work they do. This sponsorship option allows you to support a featured artist – usually a painting, composite art piece, or other fine art. Or, to sponsor the entire magazine. Our sales and subscriptions do not cover all our production costs. On average, each printing (based on the number of copies) costs us $1500-$3000. Any amount to help cover printing costs is much appreciated!
