There are blessings associated with generosity. God first gave to us and set example of selfless living. When we release what we long to cling to, God multiplies and gives back to us. But it also requires that we give and are generous out of a pure heart. Let’s take a look at what scripture has to say about living a generous life.
PROVERBS 11:24 One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. [ESV]
PROVERBS 11:25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.
