These verses and any linked articles/stories are intended to help jumpstart you in your own studies. MOST VERSES ARE BEST UNDERSTOOD WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE WHOLE LETTER in which it was written. We can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have your own bible and seek on your own. no one or any resource can replace one-on-one time with the king.

Bible versions used will vary and some may be paraphrased. We suggest using BibleGateway.com to look up the verse in your favorite version.

Hiding places are universally understood to be places of safety and refuge. God is a place of refuge and safety. Scripture vividly paints this portrait of the Father being our Ultimate Hiding Place. But let’s see HOW He is our place of safety AND what God tells us to Hide within ourselves.
At the same time, what is hidden can also be something which needs to be found and revealed.

PSALM 119:11 [MEV] Your Word I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against You.

PSALM 32:7 [CJB] You are my hiding place; You keep me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance.
[TPT] Lord, you are my secret hiding place, protecting me from these troubles, surrounding me with songs of gladness!
